This tree can be used as a focal point or a hedge plant. It has striking green color with bright yellow new growth. The color is not as intense in areas with hot summers. Color intensifies with cold. This is a fast grower that takes well to pruning. Could be used as a great windbreak. Tolerates salt spray and poor soil.
Matures to about 60 feet by 15 feet. Zone 6 to 9.
