A striking specimen that changes color through the year. It starts in spring with new growth that is a golden-yellow. As the new growth matures it changes slowly to lime green. It gives its best color if planted in a sunny location. It is slower growing than other deodars. Size at 10 years is about 20 feet by 15 feet. Zone 7 to 9.
