A focal point for a Japanese white pine with rough bark, irregular branching in a garden. Forms a sweeping wind blown shape with short fluffy green to short fluffy blue-green needles that have a slight twist. It is a heavy producer of ornamental cones even at young age. Tolerates most soils, plant prefers cool summer climates. Mature size 2 to 3 feet. Zone 4 to 7.
