Genus - Pinus, Species - strobus "White Mountain"
Should almost be called "Blue" Mountain because the blue-green needles have white tips, giving it a powder blue appearance. It is very fast growing when young, but slows down as it ages. It is sensitive to pollution and salt, so it should be kept away from sea shores and roads. Candleiling will keep it more compact or shear to make it even fuller. Size at 10 years is about 12 feet by 8 feet. Zone 4 to 9.
