Genus - Picea, Species - sitchensis "Papoose"

A small green globe with stiff needles this plant does well in rock gardens. It has a silver tinge to the back of its needles and is slow growing. Short and stubby probably best describes this shrub. New growth is soft but it gets quite stiff as it matures. Matures to about 4 feet by 4 feet. Zone 5 -7.
