If not staked when young, this tree will become an irregular, blue mound. In this form, it makes a nice, textural ground cover. It can also be used to drape over walls. We stake them when young to create a tree form. Even when staked the branches will always head down. Height at 10 years is about 6 feet. Zone 2 to 7.
