Genus - Tsuga, Species - heterophylla "Iron Springs"

Iron Springs has short, dark green needles on stiff, upright branches. It is a slow growing, semi-dwarf that creates a free form, conversation piece for the garden. It prefers moist, cool soil. Matures to 8 or 15 feet by 4 to 8 feet. Zone 5 to 8.
