Genus - Pinus, Species - thunbergii "Kotobuki"

Kotobuki is a dwarf conifer great for small gardens. Like all Japanese black pine being drought, salt, and heat tolerant once established. This cultivar is narrow and tight with shorter needles than other Japanese pines. Nice white candles that can be candled to make it even more dense. Its color is dark green. Size at 10 years is about 4 to 6 feet by 3 to 4 feet. Zone 5 to 8.
