Genus - Pinus, Species - sylvestris "Fastigiata"

A beautiful, narrow form with long, twisted blue needles. It is one of the narrowest of all the pines. Snow loads and wind can cause it to open so it should be planted in protected areas or have its branches tied together before winter. Size at 10 years is about 6 to 10 feet by 2 to 3 feet. Zone 2 to 8.
