Genus - Thuja, Species - plicata "Virescens"

A favorite privacy screen choice, virescens are a fast growing, easy care choice. They are more narrow than most Western arborvitae. They take well to trimming. They make a great hedge or backdrop for specimen trees. Good substitute for leyland cypress.

Matures to about 20 or 25 feet by 10 to 12 feet. Zone 6 to 8.
