Genus - Cryptomeria, Species - japonica "Elegans"

An unusual plant for the garden that changes color from a bluish-green in summer to a deep plum in the winter. Its foliage is dense, soft, and feather-like. Matures to about 9 to 15 feet by 10 feet. Zone 6 to 9.
