Genus - Chamaecyparis, Species - obtusa "Confucius"

A small, squatty, densely branched plant that is many colors all at once. It's fernlike branches varie from a soft green on the inside branches to shades of yellow at the tips and all colors in between. It prefers afternoon shade in summer where it will add a nice spark of year round color. Size at 10 years is about 10 feet by 4 feet. Zone 4 - 8.
