Genus - Cedrus, Species - deodara "Gold Cone"

A very rare and beautiful Himalayan cedar. It has the soft drooping form of all the deodars, but the new growth is a striking gold color. It is a moderate grower that is resistant to sun burn. It is fuller than the Cedrus deodara 'Aurea'. It tends to be narrower than other golden deodars. Matures to about 20 to 30 feet by 10 to 15 feet wide. Zone 7 to 9.
