Genus - Buxus, Species - sempervirens "Latifolia Maculata"
A fun, medium sized boxwood whose young leaves are bright gold. As the foliage matures, the individual leaves become an attractive mix of gold and green. Quite attractive. Can be used in a hedge or on its own as a focal point. Can tolerate shade or sun but gets its best color in sun. Does not like hot climates. Size depends on trimming but in 10 years will get about 6 feet by 3 feet. Zone 5 - 8.
