Genus - Pinus, Species - thunbergii "Thunderhead"

With its beautiful spring display of thick white candles against shiny, dark green needles, the thunderhead pine is being used more and more as an accent plant. It has an irregular form with branches that sweep up. Candle if a more dense form is required. Size in 10 years is about 4 to 8 feet by 4 to 6 feet. Zone 5 to 8.
