Genus - Pinus, Species - parviflora "Glauca"
A blue, slow growing version of the Japanese white pine that is narrow and upright when young. It becomes more irregular and interesting as it matures. Good blue color all year. It is salt tolerant so it is a favorite in coastal areas. Its natural shape makes it a good choice for bonsai. It is also loved for its many, beautiful cones.
