Naturally, a medium sized tree or large bush with dense branching this pine takes well to poodling. We start when the tree is small shaping it into interesting accent pieces. They are easily kept in shape and can be grown to what ever height or shape desired. Does well in salty, sandy areas. Doesn't like alkaline soil.
The poodled plants require trimming once a year. Zone 7 to 9.
