Genus - Abies, Species - koreana "Silberlocke"

A slow growing, compact, conical shaped tree with waxy, dark green needles that curl upward to reveal their bright silver backs. Also known as Horstmann's Silberlocke" A slow grower that is very showy in the Spring being covered with large purple cones. Fits well into smaller, residential landscapes. It is a bit more heat tolerant than other firs. Size at 10 years about 8 feet by 4 feet. Zone 5 to 7.
